A
user may place information on the Sign-Plate surface
any way the user wants:
(a)
hand write information directly onto the plate with a pen
or permanent (an optional clear plastic Snap-Shield
cover is available to cover it)
(b)
affix to the plate's surface a printed piece of paper containing
the desired information, either hand written or computer
printed (an optional clear plastic cover is available to
cover it)
(c)
stick to the label plate's surface our preprinted vinyl
stick-a-label
(d)
utilize a pre-manufactured sign plate having raised molded
information on it (such as an arrow and the words "flow
direction", "flammable", and the like).
Features
and Benefits
- Snaps-onNo
tools needed for installation.
- Provides
a flat surface for writing or affixing information or rounded
surfaces.
- Fluid
leaks run down the pipe behind the protruding labels, not
affecting the ability to read the label.
- Neat,
clean, professional appearance.
- Quickly
and clearly labels every type of pipe, conduit and tubing.
- Will
snap on to rods, piping, conduit or tubing that are flush
against a wall or other flat surface (does not need to wrap
around the rear of a pipe).
- Can
be mounted in a temporary or in a permanent manner.
- Provides
a means of identifying, informing, or cautioning persons
about plumbing, electrical, fiber optic, cable, telecommunication,
data-transmission, computer, alarm, oxygen, and gaseous
distribution systems.
- Useful
for original installers and those who subsequently maintain
or need to understand the system.
- Enables
those operating or maintaining a system to readily identify
which pipe or conduit goes where or comes from, what function
each valve has, and any other information deemed appropriate.
- Can
be safely used on plastic, metal and glass.
- Will
not loosen or rotate from mechanical, vehicular or natural
vibration.
- Human
effort or vibration will not cause it to slip laterally
along a vertical pipe or a horizontal pipe.
- Easy
to change the label information if the user desires.
- Saves
surface space because system signage is located directly
on the system itself rather than on the wall adjacent to
each spot where information is desired.
- Intuitively
direct in human thought process in emergencies because information
is prominently displayed directly on the system or valve
upon which immediate human analysis and action must be performed.
- Superior
in applications where the rods, pipes, conduit, or tubes
to be labeled are flush against a surface (does not need
to loop behind pipe or conduit in order to mount it).
