The
SnapMarker® line of marking
and labeling devices is the answer to all of your labeling
and marking needs. It changes a curved surface into
a flat surface for signage, labeling and marking.
With
SnapMarker® you can at last
clearly mark, organize and control the maze of conduit,
pipe, tubes and valves present in the most complex industrial
and manufacturing systems that exist.
The
System-Label product line enables users to prominently
label complex systems and provide information directly
at the point of necessity for ease of operation. Manufactured
from PVC, it is tough, noncorrosive, nonconductive and
chemical resistant.
For
special applications (e.g., avoidance of out-gassing)
SnapMarker® can be supplied
in material necessary, including without limitation
CPVC, acrylic, any plastic type, glass, or metals.
No tools are needed. Installation is a snap!
USES: Safety and
profit are the foremost concerns in the industrial setting.
SnapMarker® enhances both.

PROBLEMS:
What conduit chase runs to which area? Where does this
conduit chase come from? Where is the shut-off? What does
this valve control? What is the path of the conduit? Where
is that conduit located? How does this valve affect that
valve? Is there an intermediate junction box or terminal
along the course of the conduit? Lack of familiarity and
loss of knowledge from intermittent use or employee turnover
What happened to the hand writing on the pipe? I could
read it last time.
|
SOLUTION:
The SnapMarker® product line
clearly labels industrial, factory and medical systems
for easy convenient safe operation. Anyone can tell immediately
what conduit tube or pipe, goes where and for what by
simply looking at the information displayed on the System-Labels.
Any can instantly tell the purpose of any valve. The vinyl
labels will not rub off or bleach off.

SnapMarker®
is the superior labeling method.
It
is the only system that works the right way:
»
speed where once was delay
» control over chaos
» convenience replaces aggravation
» clarity displaces confusion
» safety where once there was danger
Labeling
of cables, tubes, conduits and pipes in the past has consisted
of direct handwriting on the rounded surface, which is problematic
in many ways. Writing on a round or curved surface is difficult,
especially if the outside diameter is small, frequently producing
a sloppy or illegible result. The total surface is limited
and often not conveniently placed for easy reading. It is
often confined small rounded writing surface area inadequate
to legibly depict or contain all necessary information. Repairs
or replacement of the underlying pipe or conduit destroys
any written information thereon.
Painted
markings, tied-on handing paper or plastic tags, or colored
tape bands are subject to peeling and corrosion, easy removal,
and require referring to a legend or master coding sheet.
Those
methods are subject to peeling and corrosion (requiring the
marks and information to be repeatedly replaced or rewritten),
easy removal, compel the user to find each end of a pipe to
match them up, compels the user to incur delay in referring
out to other plans and notes to ascertain the contents, purpose,
source or destination of the pipe, tube or conduit.
Other
pipe identification systems include wrapping straps attached
to an information plate around piping. This method is subject
to many limitations. It does not allow for the labeling of
surface mounted piping or conduit, as there is no space to
wrap the straps. It does not allow for an adjustable multi-position
labeling surface. It is not usable in installations where
pliers necessary to adequately tighten the straps cannot reach
where required. It is subject to loosening and rotation from
mechanical, vehicular or natural vibration, and thereby the
loss of immediately visible or locatable information. It is
also subject to lateral slippage along a vertical pipe or
a horizontal pipe from such vibration, which then cause the
erroneous interpretation of the information and human action
thereby creating or amplifying an accident or disaster rather
than avoiding or correcting it because the signage cannot
be found or (unknown to the user) has become located in an
improper location thus mislabeling the system or pipe. Also,
this method makes it more difficult to change a label if so
desired.
SnapMarker®
surmounts all of the above problems in a superior manner which
can be easily utilized by consumers, industry and the military,
and requires no tools to employ.
Labeling
is now a snap!
Typical
benefits of using the product include:
INCREASED
SAFETY = LOWER INSURANCE COSTS
- neat,
clean, professional appearance
- labels
never fall off or go missing
- operational
clarity yields increased safety
- fluid
leaks run down the pipe behind the protruding labels, not

- avoid
accidents that cause damage to people and property
- prevent
major upsets precipitated by spurious system operation
- improves

operation
- easier
tracing
- easier
repair
- reduces
"key man" dependence for system knowledge
INCREASE
PROFITS
- decrease
down time
- decreased
training and familiarization costs
- reduce
time spent tracing systems and interconnects
- decrease
down time and lost profit.
